About GridZero Inc.
.
Founder/President/CEO Peter Ortmann shares more about GridZero's history and vision.
GridZero Inc. is a privately held venture development company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Founded by Peter “The AngelPreneur” Ortmann, 70, known as The Shark, by some associates and is a wholly owned by AngelPreneur
Venture Group (APVG).
Originally launched to provide consulting services for estate and business clients seeking off-grid living, micro-farming, water generation, alternative energy systems, GridZero has since evolved into a bold and visionary platform for exciting businesses that showcase innovation and creative thinking only a serious entrepreneur with passion can offer.

After years of development, we’ve restructured GridZero to focus exclusively on launching several large-scale, stand-alone ventures—each designed to make a positive impact and operate independently under the GridZero Venture Fund. Our goal is to self-fund, launch, and grow these companies with the intention of taking GridZero public by 2028.

Our Unique Self-Funding Strategy
To fund this mission without relying on traditional outside investors, Peter developed ClubZERO Rewards, a unique membership-based funding model. ClubZERO members contribute monthly dues that help launch our Venture Fund companies.
Iin return, they will earn ClubZERO Reward Tokens—a virtual, non-cash rewards currency used to define the quarterly Reward Credit values to be distributed to our members, Reward Credits are based on the quarterly pre-tax profit contributions from GridZero and ClubZERO operations, plus a 20% pool of monthly membership dues. Reward Credits are posted to member accounts to redeem for travel, merchandise, and special offers through the online membership store.
ClubZERO is a win-win model designed to build businesses while rewarding early supporters, and members long-term. It redefines what it means to be part of a true entrepreneurial startup community.
Leadership and Vision
As GridZero’s portfolio grows, The Shark plans to hire a dedicated President to oversee daily operations while he remains CEO. This will allow him to focus on producing his reality web series, The AngelPreneur: Building The Dream in Real Time, that will document and showcase the real-world challenges and milestones behind launching our ventures.
Aquarium Plaza: The Shark’s Legacy Project
At the heart of our Founders passion for building GridZero is his proposed Maui Aquarium Plaza in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. This six-acre facility will serve as an active showcase for the many technologies, equipment and systems we offer. The centerpiece will be Marissa’s Reef for Heavenly Helpers, a saltwater aquarium memorial exhibit honoring The Sharks late granddaughter and other children lost to natural causes. It will also house:
-
Aquarium Gallery Restaurant a full service restaurant
-
ReefShark Apparel & Accessories retail store
-
Sunstar Virtual GolfClub plly over 100 courses virtually
-
A micro-farming basement with atmospheric water generation
-
A rooftop produce garden with solar-integrated systems
-
Solar-covered parking with fast EV charging stations
The Shark's goal is to break ground on Maui in 2027 with plans to open on June 24, 2028, in what would be Marissa's 30th Birthday. This is about the time The Shark intends to retire as well, with his solar powered catamaran in the Lahaina harbor.
