Our Founder shares details about the CBO Foundation ClearBlue Ocean Cruise Line

As ClubZERO membership grows, it will generate substantial cash flows and demand for travel reward products. To address this future demand GridZero, in partnership with the Clear Blue Oceans Foundation

(CBO Foundation) - will look to build a fleet of five (5) or more 600-foot, 150 all suite cabin ten deck, luxury cruise ships inspired by Ritz-Carlton’s first cruising yacht “EVRIMA” seen here. The name EVRIMA

comes From the Greek word "Eurēma" (Εύρημα), which means "discovery." The video shares more details about the cruise yacht EVRIMA.

ClearBlue Ocean Cruises (Launching 2029)

An Exclusive, Adults-Only Cruise Line for ClubZERO Members

Our ships will reflect a true spirit of exploration, discovery and embody a voyage into a luxury, purpose-driven and transformational adventure—aligning fully with our proposed member travel experience. Once built ships will be leased long-term to the CBO Foundation’s proposed ClearBlue Ocean Cruises (CBOC) division to operate as part of its ocean issue awareness initiatives.

CBOC will offer scheduled 7-day sailings around the Hawaiian Islands, staffed with an all-Hawaiian crew, 14 to 21-day roundtrip sailings between Hawaii and the west coast ports of Long Beach, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle, with stops in Alaska during summer season, and extended 21-30 night cruises to Tahiti & French Polynesia.

What Makes Us Different

CBOC will be more than just another luxury cruise line—it's an ocean awareness movement. ClubZERO members will not just become guests... they're co-creators and owners of a well-structured non-profit ocean-focused initiative that helps educate them and benefits future generations. Members will be able to take part in naming our ships to win free cruises and Reward Credits.

Its proposed fleet of ECO-designed ships will be powered with LNG, and solar Hybrid systems, feature tropical Hawaiian interiors, reef aquariums, immersive Polynesian culture, ocean and marine life focused preservation exhibits and live presentations. Our ships will offer unmatched elegance, privacy, and purpose in an Adults-only atmosphere (18+ no children's facilities onboard). We will operate with a 1 crew to 1.4 guests ratio and employ an all Hawaiian-based crew to help address the pending cruise ship issues in Hawaii as seen in the video to the left.

Our building a proposed private member cruise line that serves Hawaii, requires us to have U.S. built ships or we would need to stop in a foreign port during each cruise. There are several former shipbuilders and shipyards that can build our ships, and we hope to work with one in the greater Seattle, Washington area. Under the Trump Administration we might be able to secure grants for restarting the cruise passenger ship building in the USA. Our fleet is small by comparison to larger cruise ships, and will feature:

  • 150+ All-Suite Cruise Cabins inspired by Ritz-Carlton's fleet of luxury yacht EVRIMA

  • Eco-Friendly Propulsion (LNG powered engines + Solar Hybrid features)

  • Tropical Theme Interior Atriums, exhibits and Aquariums throughout

  • Tropical Reef Travel Cafes onboard – (A GridZero company)

  • Starlink internet access throughout all sailings

  • ReefShark Apparel & Accessories  a CBO Foundation retail operation

  • SunStar Virtual Golf Center with PGA professional instructor classes onboard

  • Hawaiian Cultural Programming Hula, storytelling, ocean navigation history

  • Ocean Issue Awareness Exhibits, live Presentations and films

  • Core Cruise Itineraries:

    • 7-Night Hawaiian Islands Loop (Honolulu, Maui, Kaua‘i, Kona, Hilo)

    • 14-21 Night Pacific Expeditions (roundtrip to Honolulu from San Diego, LA, SF, or Seattle)

    • 21-Night Tahiti & French Polynesia Expeditions – (roundtrip from Honolulu)

    • 28-Night Hawaii & French Polynesia Expeditions - (roundtrip from Long Beach, CA)

    • 7-Night Private Charters ionly n Hawaii for 5 - 7 nights for Weddings or Special corporate events

How Our Ships are Funded & Why We Need Your Support

Our fleet of five (5) proposed identical 600-foot, seven deck ClearBlue cruising yachts will cost about $500 million dollars each and feature 150+ all suite cabins (300 guests per cruise). They will be built in America for GridZero by a well-known Seattle shipyard. GridZero will lease the ships to the CBO Foundation’s ClearBlue Ocean Cruises

division. Our primary goal today, however, is to build our ClubZERO membership to the levels shown in our projections so we can bring this membership benefit to life by 2030. Here’s how they will be funded.

First, we consider this an income generating asset building opportunity as all ships will become GridZero, and public ClubZERO assets. Construction is funded in part with monthly member dues allocations and with traditional financing as needed. The CBO Foundation will pay a deposit of $100 million per ship prior to starting, and once delivered, lease them for $5 million monthly ($60 million annually) over 10 years (120 months x $5 million = $600 million).

The ships will then be refurbished and leased for $2.5 million per month ($30 million annually x 120months = $300 million) for 10 additional years. Thereafter GridZero will sell the ships to the CBO Foundation in exchange for the original $100 million deposit. Collectively, each ship will generate $1 billion over 20 years for ClubZERO. Pricing is subject to change over terms. This will likely cause ClubZERO, which will own GridZero by 2028, to conduct a secondary share offering on NASDAQ in 2029 to raise an additional $1.5 billion to complete the ship build-out.

Each ship is projected to generate a minimum of $35 million in annual sales revenue for the CBO Foundation, Payroll is estimated at $18.5 million, with food, beverage and operating costs at $15 million annually. As a non-profit initiative, the CBO Foundation is not looking to make a profit from this activity. In fact, the very essence of this cruise program initiative accomplishes a large part of its ocean awareness efforts. The 10% allocation of monthly member dues to the CBO Foundation also helps fund the operation of these ships long-term.

Why Launch a Cruise Line over using Existing Ships?

This is a great question. As the CBO Foundation is a Hawaii based non-profit foundation with its ocean focus mainly on the Hawaiian Islands, it wanted to showcase the islands in a unique way. To do so ships have to be built in the United States, and only one large cruise ship, the NCL Pride of America, was and it is aging. That, combined with the following:

  1. Pending changes in Hawaii that will likely reduce cruise ship visits do to environmental concerns

  2. Only one large cruise ship, the NCL Pride of America, was built in the USA and it is aging,

  3. We saw a unique opportunity to fill this void.

  4. We wanted to help diversify the Hawaii job market and employee hundreds of Hawaiians to serve on crews.

  5. As ClubZERO membership grows, so will the demand for travel rewards, so this makes sense

  6. As ClubZERO membership grows, so will the cash flows so we are reinvesting that into the business

  7. Our proposed cruise ships will be worth $500 million when done adding to our assets

ClubZERO Reward Credits

ClubZERO members earn Reward Credits with every monthly Dues payment and for each accrued member they have referred, as outlined elsewhere on this website. Reward Credits can be applied toward cruise pricing. Married or partnered members are encouraged to join individually - as Reward Credits can be combined for per person cruise cabin costs. All cruises are sold exclusively to members and CBO Foundation donors – no public access.
