Founder/CEO shares his Tropical Reef Travel Cafe concept
Likely one of the first GridZero Venture Fund projects to be developed will be the Tropical Reef Travel Cafe. It is a model that our founder first developed 20 years ago and never launched. It has undergone many redesigns over the years. The signature design below was developed for an existing development located in Summerlin, Las Vegas. Although this site was not leased and may no longer be avaialble. We are looking at acquiring land to build a similar version of this design as a stand-alone project in Las Vegas, Malibu California and Maui, Hawaii.

This project is deemed to be the fastest path to cash flow the Venture Fund for the benefit of GridZero and its ClubZERO members. Once underway, a second and third signature Travel Cafe will be built in Camarillo, California, and Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. ​They will become known for the "BageddAboudIt" pizza. sandwiches, salads and smoothies. They will serve micro-beers, California wines
and related products.​

​The ultimate goal is to develop a franchise chain of smaller Travel Cafes within North America for independent entrepreneurs to own and operate. Once established, either take the concept public via an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of its equity shares by 2028 or merge it with a larger existing restautant brand. A sample design is shown above with some original renderings from 2004 when we first created the Travel Cafe model.The above are designed for strip mall rental spaces located within a local shopping centers almost anywhere.
