Our Founder shares the proposed GridZero H2 Refueling HUT Project

The proposed GridZero H2 Refueling HUTS (H2 Huts) project is one of the newest concepts created by our Founder, aka The Shark, while looking to acquire an H2 powered vehicle. In doing so he discovered there were ZERO places to refuel H2 vehicles in Las Vegas, and only limited locations avaialble within California. He found that odd as Air Liquide opened one of the largest hydrogen (H2) Fuel production facilities in North Las Vegas over a year ago.

Further research indicated that existing H2 vehi owners in California were frustrated that they could not drive to Nevada because no refuleing locations were available to them.  So, with that in mind The Shark swam into action and designed his GridZero H2 Refueling HUT concept as a temporay solution until our EVPowerHUBZ are built.

The conceptual rendering above consists of a 4,900 SF (70' x 70') that will exclusively offer H2 refueling for H2 vehicle and truck oweners. They will have four pumps, restrooms and limited food items, plus will be staffed on a 24/7 basis. They have a solar canopy roof for weather protection and an air-2-water making system. H2 Huts are designed to operate off the grid anywhere, location details will vary and actual CAD drawings are still being developed.

The objective is to operate them as an entirely non-profit initiative of the GridZero Solutions Institute (GZ Institute) to help educate consumers about the H2 value proposition.  The GZ Institute will seek contributions from local corporate and private Sponsors, and H2 vehicle and truck brands to build and operate up to five H2 Huts debt free, The goal is to reduce Hydrogen fuel cost to the price of gasoline and expand H2 travel opportunities. An important factor in building a market for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

Our logic is simple!  In order to help transition people to a zero emission transportation future, the H2 industry brands that provide the vehicles shoukld help building the zero emission infrastructure.  We can not wait five more years to build it and hope they come, we must start building it now so they can come today. The GridZero H2 Refueling HUT model can accomplish this by opening up the initial markets with H2 owners ion California, and start selling H2 vehicles within Nevada, Utah, and Arizona.

The combined GridZero business is without doudt a large and aggressive zero emission transportation start-up that will take years to fully implement. However, H2 Huts can start opening within six to nine months, with proper funding. Once the initial location in Las Vegas is open, and a market for them starts building, we will look to open one or more there, one in Primm at the California border, in Mesquite on the Utah border and one in Laughlin, on the Arizona border. The goal is to extend the travel range for H2 vehicle owners before they give up on the hydrogen option.
