Founder/President/CEO shares his goals with the CommunityHUB module

The GridZero, through our non-profit GridZero Foundation (GZ Foundation), is committed to paying things forward and helping address the issues of our time. From cleaning up the air with our zero emissions businesses, providing clean drinking-water made from local humidity where needed or operating vertical farms for healthy food produuction. One of the GZ Foundation's biggest efforts will be to buid and operate our GridZero CommunityHUBS (CommunityHUBS) that will address a segment of the working homeless population. (Also see our Budiness Park HUBS)

CommunityHUB facilities will come in multiple sizes. They are designed for homeless individuals with jobs or those likely to secure one. Those who have became homeless due to rising housing costs, a sudden lay-off

or similar life-changing situation and now leaves them without an address and livable facilities to recover.

CommunityHUB facilities will provide individuals now living out of their cars, travel trailers or RV units a safe and secure place to park.  To errect a suitible tent shelter for temporary housing use within their assigned space.

Each facility will offer 24/7 security, gated access, ice, men, and women shower and bathroom facilities, a laundromat, internet connected computers, WIFI access, and 1,500 + gallons of drink-ready water per day made from local humidity. Each space will have a four plug outlet, provide an address to use for mail or package delivery, a hot tub and BBQ area so residents can feel somewhat normal as they rebuild their life.

The CommunityHUB seen above was designed for a 5-acre location that can be built anywhere a need arises. Our design incorporates 2 - 300’ x 200’ (60,000 SF) GridZero Solar Canopy Modules (GZ Modules). They are open on all

sides and use bifacial solar panels set on a pre-engineered metal building steel frame. They are 28’ tall at the eave (sidewall), and 30’ tall at the peak. These facilities will be self-powered using solar and wind energy, with a green hydrogen (GH2), zero emissions electric generator backup.

The live-in parking spaces and all inclusive services will be offered to responsible homeless individuals for a small monthly fee of $250 to $500 depending on the size of the space occupied. Tenants are not required to sign a lease, and may stay for up to a maximum of 24 months. They will need to adhere to some standard terms and rules.

The GZ Foundation will own and operate most facilities, and tenant fees help offset ongoing operating expenses. Each location will have a resident onsite property manager, who will oversee the satff and facility. GridZero believes our CommunityHUBS concept will become popular with cities, states and non-profit organizations that work with the unhooked populations in their areas.  As such, GridZero will be happy to design/build a ReliefHUB and/or CommunityHUB project for any governmental agencies, cities, and third party non-profits.

GridZero and the GZ Foundation is taking this powerful concept a step further by building a Business Park HUB. along side a larger 500 person Community HUB project. They are set on a 40 acre sites in North Las Vegas, Nevada, Camarillo, California and Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. Visit the web page for more details. .
