Solving The Water Shortage Crisis

Video: Overview of the western drought and coming Mega-drought

California Water Shortage

The current water conditions in the western states, mainly California, and the Southwestern states have imptoved with recent rains. Despite several very wet winters with heavy snowfalls, these shortages are likely to grow more severe in the years ahead.

The past drought was different in several ways over previous ones, in that local reservoirs fell to all time record lows not seen before. The rapid increase in population growth over the past 30 years, with no new reservoirs being built, and no new ones close to being started, water rationing may be on gold for now, but it will likely start soon after the rains stop. The next drought could last for many years to come.

Regional Power Shortages

California is also becoming well known for having power supply issues caused by an aging electrical infrastructure and more recently, wildfire risk management. Whenever the common Santa Anna winds blow in Southern California, local power companies shut down power to targeted regions to prevent or slow the spread of fires. This causes disruption to residential and business customers alike as these shortages can last for several hours, days, or even weeks.

The GridZero Solution

This pressing access to clean water issues has now opened the door for consumers and businesses alike to seek out viable, cost-effective alternatives and solutions to offset the shortages that routinely cause disruption to their lives and businesses.

We recognized the developing combined shortage trends years ago and set out to solve them on an individual basis and local water district basis. The rendering here shows an atmospheric water plant that can generate over 20,000 gallons per day of small farmers, vineyard owners, or food processors who require a steady stream of clean water.

The GridZero business business model was designed around such solutions, and we have spent years researching to find the right products and manufacturers to accomplish our objectives.

We believe we are now at the forefront of the "solar powered water-making sector", and intend to position ourselves as such by offering customized systems across California and Nevada to help those seeking to address and overcome their individual power and water shortage concerns.

Whether customers seek a fully-sustainable solar power or water-making system individually or together, GridZero will meet the challenges head-on and deliver the most cost-effective and highest quality system possible while also offering long-term maintenance and service of them.

GridZerouses the marketing tagline “The Solution To Your Water Shortages can be found in the Air We Breathe.” This refers to the fact that water is in the humid airflows common within all coastal regions and almost all parts of California. These airflows can be “milked” for water through a patented process that converts the air into clean drinking water.

Electrical power, water. and food security are the core concern of everyone's future, and we intend to deliver lasting solutions to meet these challenges.
